This year’s updates for POUND Rockout Workout Pro Training are focused on keeping the training fresh, utilizing the presentation slides for in-person trainings, and additional FAQs for commonly asked questions. The updates listed below reflect the changes made to the pages of the ICON Guide, unless otherwise noted.

  • INTERACTIVE: Set Level 1 ICON Choice recommendation has been updated to Seize The Power by Yonaka. (pg. 9) Please make sure the completed Starter Set List that you are sharing with your new Pros includes the ICON choice Set Level 1 that you use in the Interactive.
  • POUND PHILOSOPHIES: ICON will read these fully instead of reading with a volunteer. Please review ICON Guide for guidance on leading this section. (pg.12)
  • CHOREOGRAPHY: Drills have been updated to support the use of the presentation slides to deliver this section (pgs. 20-22)
  • STARTER SET LIST: Within The Label, the Beginner 45-minute Set List Template has been updated with an option of Kit 1 or Kit 2 in the second kit track slot. This change was made to support the Starter Set List within the POUND Rockout Workout training manual so that the Starter Set List in training is no longer “exclusive”. (pg. 23)
  • SET POSITION QUESTION: Wording for the first question on pg 22 of the Manual has been updated to “What options can you give a participant with limited knee flexion?” (from “existing knee injury”) (ICON Guide pg. 24). This will be updated in the translated manuals throughout the year.
  • FAQ: How much of training can I miss? To successfully earn the Certificate of Completion and license to teach POUND®, no more than one hour total of POUND® Pro Training may be missed. If a participant arrives late and/or misses more than an hour of the training, they may remain, but will not earn their Certificate of Completion or invitation to The Label until the time missed is made up with a member of POUND HQ’s Pro Success department. (pg. 41)
  • FAQ: Ripstix + Shipping outside the US: Pricing will automatically update to include region-specific duties and taxes. (pg. 43)
